The Mustang and Melissa were featured in the cover story of the April 2005 issue of Hot Rod Magazine, “Real Women, Real Fast.” May 16, 2006 her racing accomplishments were featured in the Sonoma Index Tribune. The San Francisco Chronicle featured female racers in 2003, Hillary Will was driving the GirlPower dragster and Melissa was driving her Mustang in that article.
